Decomposition of a dreamDecomposition of a dreamDecomposition of a dream by Tazunee
Too often dreamed,
too often nourished
too often put on a pedestal and admired.
Too often searched,
too often hoped,
too often chased in to the mazes of your mind
of up to not have hardly breath.
Too often longed,
too often caressed,
too often wet with tears of despair
of up to almost to dissolve it.
And now what remains of it is
the decomposition of a dream
and in the spaces, that it had occupied
will remain only emptiness,
where and only in total darkness the nothingness you will be able to expand.
But now close your eyes and lying to sleep and who knows ...
that in the darkness,
you can see again a small flame
and you have the strength to accept it in your breasts
and protect it,
until it begins to take effect and beaming to shine
so that it can lead you on the path in this darkness
where surely a new dream
He is waiting for you.
For My PeopleAs far as I can recall:For My People by WordOfChen
I did not ask to be birthed
Into a cycle of stagnation.
I did not ask to be told,
That my dreams are achievable;
Only to see them limited by the scope of reality.
I did not ask for a failing system,
Passed unto me by half-dead corpses wearing suits.
Nodding eagerly at one another,
As they wait for an inevitable death.
This I did not ask for,
And I am certain that most of you did not either.
But it is for that reason,
And for that reason alone, I say:
That it is up to us,
We siblings bound by the chains of our forefathers,
To create a system that is better,
Than the bitter shackles of the past.
Justice is what I long for.
Justice for MY people.
The rain beggarWhen you won't be here,The rain beggar by shining-gloom
I'll want it to rain.
The smoke will disappear,
The wind will put a strain,
The grass will be soft enough,
To lie on it wont be tough,
Now that i'm pierced by the grain.
But there's no cloud up here.
The smoky wind doesn't have a care,
Here are the fiery days of Aine...
When you won't be here,
My urges the cloud wont hear,
I'll want it,i'll beg it to rain...
I'll want it,but i'll want it in vain.
|What is the IdotW Contest about and how does it work?|
The IdotW competition is a weekly contest for all members of Ispirare. This represents the main route to get your deviations in the group's Featured Folder ispirare.deviantart.com/galler… , which is, by definition, the best that the group has to offer according to its own members.
In order to enter the competition, each member is invited to submit one piece of work to the group's showcase folder ispirare.deviantart.com/galler… . This can be changed once every month or by contacting Nigalius, who will remove the old and put in the new.
Every Monday night (GMT), group members meet in the Ispirare Piano Bar and pick a selection from the showcase folder which they would like to see in the competition. Any member can come along to these meetings and take their pick of their favourite(s). The Piano Bar can be entered by clicking here chat.deviantart.com/chat/TheIs….
Once the selection has been made, the admin staff announce last week's winner, and sets up the vote for the week to come.
The winning entry is allowed to add the Ispirare IdotW rosette on their deviation from this point on. fav.me/d38lt0j
At the end of the year, we will be running a This Year's Finest Competition, which will feature all the winners for a 'grand prize'. (To be decided as yet).
